An Impressive Alternative to OEM Inks - Print Quality, Reliability and Nozzle Performance Changing equipment is part of everyday life in the printing industry. As a printer, I’ve worked with a wide range of machines, including Roland, Mimaki, EFI, Durst and Canon. Changing print media is equally routine, but changing inks is another matter entirely. It’s a subject many printers are understandably reluctant to consider. Having switched from OEM inks to Ollinks, I can honestly say the results have impressed me from every angle. I use Ollinks inks and Head Cleaning Solution across my EFI VUTEk GS5000, QS3 Pro and Durst Rho 512, printing on a wide variety of media, including vinyl, foam, fabrics and acrylic. Whether printing single or double strike, on sealed or unsealed materials, the ink performs exceptionally well. The colours are vibrant, adhesion has been excellent, and I’ve experienced no cracking in the prints so far, even as I become more confident with folding. One particularly impressive observation has been nozzle performance. Over thousands of square metres of printing, I haven’t lost a single nozzle. While I can’t claim this is entirely down to the ink, the consistency has certainly caught my attention. Considering that my workshop environment is far from ideal and my machines are well-used rather than new, the reliability has been remarkable. And one product deserves particular recognition: the Head Cleaning Solution. It has been an important part of my experience with the Ollinks system and deserves just as much attention as the inks themselves. For printers considering an alternative to OEM inks, my experience with Ollinks has been extremely positive. The print quality, reliability and nozzle performance have given me plenty of confidence in making the switch."
We met (Inkjet Monkey) through a mutual contact when we were looking for our first second hand UV printer. Their experience has ensured the successful installation of 2 second hand UV printers (5m wide HP XP5300 and 2m wide Vutek QS2000), and their on-going support gives our operators the confidence to maintain these machines in good working order. It has allowed us to enter the 5m wide market at a fraction of the cost of buying new machinery which has broadened not only our general offering as a business, but has also opened us up to markets we hadn't considered working in such as black back stretch PVC for exhibitions. Printers that are looking to either add an extra familiar machine to their plant list to increase capacity, or go wider than they can currently offer in-house. Weigh up the total cost of the hardware including installation and the estimated on-going maintenance, pit it against the minimum extra revenue you can gain from that additional hardware and it'll be obvious what you should do next."
SMP Group has partnered with Inkjet Monkey for over 5 years and they have become our turn to company for our HP 5300. If we have a breakdown advice is readily available over the phone, if we need an engineer to attend they pull out all the stops to make sure we are up and running in the shortest possible time. As well as breakdowns Inkjet Monkey provide a value for money service contract which keeps our machines in the best possible condition. I would not hesitate to recommend Inkjet Monkey to anyone needing their services.
I have had numerous opportunities, over many years, to work together with Inkjet Monkey on joint projects. I have always been impressed with their professional skills, dedication and hard work. Our working relationship often switched between "customer" and "supplier" roles, and I have consistently found them to be reliable and a pleasure to work with.
I have never had better service from a supplier that I can recall. Both Jennifer and Carl went above and beyond what most other companies would do to supply us with a old Vutek printer. It's a very long story, too long for a Google review, but Jennifer worked tirelessly and for many months on the sale of one used printer to our plant. Words cannot convey how pleased I was/am with their company and give them my highest possible recommendation.
Inkjet Monkey are always very helpful and quick to respond when we need support to solve an issue with our machine. Their ink is also very reliable and well priced compared to most on the market.
Absolutely fantastic service. I was about to be ripped off by another engineer. Spoke to karl on the phone and he assured me he could talk me through the fix via phone. Within half a day I was back printing better than ever. Absolutely reccomemded 1st class service thankyou

Great professional business. Well done karl
Jennifer and Carl both provided a fantastic service when moving a large format machine to our premises. Carl's expertise and support throughout the installation and training was exceptional. Highly recommended.
